Eurotherm Chessell recorders can be configured offline, and the configuration file saved. The file can then be transferred to the recorder via Ethernet, serial network, or removable media depending on recorder feature set. The configuration file can also be copied out of the recorder to be saved, and edited offline.
Configuration of 6000 Series and 5000 Series
The C-Edit program is included on the CD that accompanies each instrument. The configuration software is easy to use as it is an exact mimic of the recorder configuration screens - nothing new to learn.

Configuration of 4000 Series
Configuration Editor runs in Windows 3.X, 95, 98 and NT, within a MSDOS shell, and is available for use with the following units: 394, 4000R, 4101C, 4101M, 4102C, 4102M, 4103C, 4103M, 4181M, 4250C, 4250M.
